Hello World

Introduction

Here it goes. My attempt at writing a blog. It always seems so difficult to have one. Go away procrastination!

I’m a software developer currently based in Lithuania. I program mostly in python although occasionally need to do some Javascript as well. I enjoy DevOps things, learning software architecture patterns, creating custom tools for easier life. What a cliche bio nowadays, am I right ? You can read more about me at my page.

I have started this blog as a way to organize my own thoughts. Does typing things down on a piece of markdown doc help? We’ll see!

Furthermore, there’s always new shiny things you learn each day. With so little time in life it seems writing about them forces one to really dig into the technology and figure out how useful is it without it blowing in your face some time later.

Finally, it’s writing,- the grind. I’ve always been struggling with it. A few cohesive sentences always seem to take ages to write. As the saying goes practice makes perfect so here I ended up,- practicing.

What it will contain ?

Most likely random stuff. But I’m hoping these will show up some time in the future:

• DevOps, K8s, CD/CI setup
• Packaging for lazy people
• Odoo development stuff, tools built, BPM
• Rapid Application Developent
• Serverless (Fingers crossed)
